I think I got it,

I think chase got close by saying she is talking to him “like a friend”.

basically the frog just needs a kiss from a princess but is stuck in the “friend zone” and therefore probably won’t get a kiss.

I took it to mean that she won’t kiss a guy until they’re boyfriend & girlfriend, and she won’t be a guy’s girlfriend unless he’s a good listener.

So in order to get what he wants, the guy has to wait patiently while the girl gets what she wants (someone to share *all* her problems with).

Kind of annoying that they don’t use actual drug names - when they’re clearly meant to be stand ins for actual drugs. I guess they think it’s a legal issue..

Justme’s got it….she’s looking for a way to live happily ever after, and the frog thinks she could if she would just kiss him so he could turn into her prince.
