Most schools still have blackboards as well — but whether or not they do, the white slates are never called blackboards. They go by various names including… wait for it… whiteboards.Yes, I know, I’m commenting on the logic of a Family Circus comic.

Yesterday’s Days of Thunder, by popular demand. The consensus seems to be that figuring out who the man is will lead to an explanation, while Lola adds: “He’s ‘lovelied’ up a piece of sod by putting a bow on it and it’s some kind of a pet since it has a leash. You know, like sod could run in the road and get hit. It’s so sad when that happens.
