Liked the Bloom County blast from the past. That was from right smack dab in the middle of the period when Opus’ beak ballooned from being tiny and skinny to huge and bulbous. IIRC you could almost notice the increase daily.

When I read the Baby Blues last Sunday, I actually spent time trying to figure out the best way to trace a lightbulb without having the line veering in and out. You’d need some sort of crayon jig that would lock the angle to keep the curve smooth. And if it were adjustable, then you could modify the size of the shape without having to change lightbulbs. But then, the lightbulb would also probably be wobbling along its long axis as you trace it, unless you held it down so firmly that you’re in danger of breaking it. Too much time on my hands?

For the SMBC one, he hates his parents because they named him Asshole, he hates being called by his name because it is Asshole. Fully justified in his stance.
