Jeremy and Mom

Cidu Bill on Apr 29th 2008

jeremyandmom.jpgThis is actually a fairly clever idea: The Zits cartoonists — or some flunkies at the publishing house — went through the run of the series and picked out a book’s worth of strips about Jeremy Duncan and his mother. It’s being advertised as a Mother’s Day gift and I’d be tempted to buy one myself, except my mother has zero interest in comic strips and I’m sure she’s still convinced reading them will rot my brain.(I think that ship has already sailed, Mom)

If this book is at all successful, by whatever sales standards constitute “successful” for a comic strip reprint book, I can certainly imagine Baby Blues, Jump Start, FBoFW and other strips jumping on the bandwagon in time for next year’s holiday.

well, FBOFW has done a Farley book, and other theme collections–April, for one–not sure if they’ve done a “mom” one, but it would only make sense.

I could have sworn you posted this already, and the comment proves me right.

I like knowing I’m not losing my mind.
