LOL at the Creationism one.

With the Juvenile Court, does anybody else see a woman on the judges side, whispering in his ear? I know its the end of his chair, maybe its my subconscious mind.

Because it changes the guide's response from meaning "I suppose you have made a valid point, but a minor one that I am going to accept in good grace." to "Yes, I agree that this is all stupid."

Powers, this comic reverses the panels a lot, and I find it works for me. I look at the first panel, make certain implicit assumptions about what's going on, and then go on to the second panel and laugh at the incongruity. It helps if the browser size is set so that you have to actually scroll down to see the second panel, rather than processing it all at once. I found the SMBC web site this weekend and got about 30 LOLs from it so far.

Is there any reason -- any reason at all -- for the panels in the Creationism comic to be reversed chronologically?

Chipper, I'm the one who sent in the elephant one as a LOL. I didn't think that the elephant was any famous person, I just liked the idea of that as a panel in a kiddie book.
