Nicole sent this one as an Arlo Page candidate, but I thought it was way too contrived: Why would Walt even entertain the possibility that his guitar-playing son was referring to anything other than a guitar string: Even Jeremy doesn’t think his father is that stupid. If my son told me his g-string broke, I’d probably make some comment along the line that his butt must have gotten too big, and he’d roll his eyes and say something along the lines of “You think you’re a lot funnier than you are,” but it would never occur to me that he’d suddenly begun cross-dressing. And just for the record, we’ve already seen that Walt does the family laundry.
