I didn’t get this one either but Monday’s Bizarro made a reference to “Natonal Surrealism Week”. I thought it was just a one-off gag but maybe it indicated that all this week’s strips would be more bizarre than usual.

His life coach used to be a third base coach, and still gives the same advice. So he stole a house, I guess.

I believe it’s a reference to the common American pastime of “Base ball”, but beyond that I don’t know.

Of course it’s about baseball (which is one word)

This was a LOL for me… But then I’m a baseball season ticket holder. This is definitely a third base coach joke.
Go Giants!

When a baseball coach tells you to steal home, you run for home plate. If you manage to pull it off, you’re a hero.
When a LIFE coach tells you to steal home, you steal someone else’s house. If you manage to pull it off, you’re a criminal.

I took the joke to be that the life coach was merely telling him to take more chances, since stealing home is the highest risk offensive play in baseball. He understood it to mean something a little different.
