By the way - my friend’s husband had a cheaper and simpler idea: hook the toilet up to an equal mix of cold and hot water! Sounds gross, but it’s awful nice on chilly mornings…

Aside from the fear of flaming rolls of toilet paper, what about the questionable practice of using paper? Why not go Washlet and get a heated seat that eliminates the need for paper?

What if it’s actually a mini UV light to sanitize the TP? That would not be a bad idea since the roll is hanging “underhand”, and would require each user to push the top of it with (possibly) contaminated hands to get a piece.
