No the IN tube goes nowhere. Its referencing how some spam filters let spam through but block legitimate mail.

As a computer support person, this made me laugh. I cannot tell you how many people I support who seem to believe that this is how email actually works.

Keera: The “In” tube goes up and the “Out” tube goes down. Assumably the user is up there getting and sending messages.

Where exactly does the in-tube go?

The little mailman on top brings it in and dumps it into the little hole on the in-tube, which shoots it up to your monitor.

The out-tube leads from your monitor/keyboard down to the bin where the little mailman on the bottom picks it up and takes it away.

There is no joke, except ha-ha, little mailmen, how cute.

It looks like the IN and SPAM chutes lead to the same basket, but it’s a waste basket, so… I’unno.

Didn’t some senator liken the internet to a series of tubes or some such?

Also, the cartoonist has a killer spam program. Deleted before it even gets to you? I want some little men.
