A lot of businesses added “fuel surcharges” a few years back when gas was over $4.50. Now we’re seeing another series of fuel surcharges as gas approaches $4 again. But in between, did anybody actually roll back their fuel surcharges when gas dipped back down below $3?

Okay, I’m serious about this: the whole point of the “defense of marriage” concept is that gay marriages endanger the more traditional man-woman marriages. So I put out a call asking to hear from somebody whose marriage actually needed to be defended against gay marriage, and why.
